Guillermaux Road bridge, workers´houses and Catholic church

Built in 1920, the Guillermaux Road bridge was designed by architect Louis Bosset and is one of the first reinforced concrete bridges in Switzerland. A little further along stands a yellow and brown building, referred to as the “Beehive”. It is a fine example of workers’ housing, which began to emerge at the end of the 19th century. Opposite is a Catholic church which dates from the same period as the Beehive (1928).
